Cloud Tuning & Advanced Tuning

How do I use Cloud Tuning? (step by step)

Fastest — WhatsApp: send your original .bin/.ori/.hex file to our WhatsApp, tell us the ECU (brand + model) and the services you want (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC OFF, Stage 1…). We process it and send the tuned file back in the chat.

Website — Cloud Vault:

  1. Log in and open Profile → Cloud Vault.
  2. Step 1 — choose Job Type: MODULE (DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC / IMMO) or TUNING (Stage 1, Stage 1+, Pops & Bangs).
  3. Step 2 — select your ECU (brand + model, e.g. Bosch EDC17C50).
  4. Step 3 — pick the services you want (you can select several).
  5. Upload your original, unmodified file and submit.
  6. Our system processes it automatically and returns the tuned file in your Vault + email + WhatsApp notification (usually within minutes).

Cost: Pro / Monthly / Yearly plans get Cloud Tuning free. Standard and the 24h pack pay in tokens (1 token = €1; DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC = 10 tokens). Always upload the original file, never a cracked or already-modified one.

How do I use the Advanced Tuning (WinOLS) service? (step by step)

This is a done-for-you file hand-tuned by our professional tuner, for custom or advanced requests beyond standard Cloud Tuning.

  1. Log in and open Profile → Advanced Tuning.
  2. Accept the terms and top up your wallet (minimum €10).
  3. Choose the service from the catalog (Stage 1/2, DPF, EGR, Pops & Bangs, deep idle, custom…). The price is shown and deducted from your wallet.
  4. Enter your vehicle + ECU details and upload your original file.
  5. Your job goes to our professional tuner; you get the finished file back (download + notification), usually within a day.
  6. If the tuner cannot complete it, the charge is automatically refunded to your wallet.

Available every day — just ask if you are unsure which service you need.

DTC OFF & Readiness

DTC OFF: when I select DTC OFF and choose the DTCs, do I have to activate readiness also?

Usually no. You only need readiness if the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors and those monitors won’t complete normally (often when systems like DPF/EGR/SCR are disabled/removed). Otherwise, DTC OFF alone is enough.

Ok, when do I need to activate readiness?

Only when the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors, and those monitors won’t complete normally because a system is disabled/removed (commonly DPF/EGR/SCR). Otherwise, don’t enable readiness.

Troubleshooting

After saving, the switches show blue 'ON' again when I reopen the file — is this normal?
What you see:
  • After applying a solution (e.g., DTC OFF / DPF / EGR / AdBlue), you save the file.
  • When you reopen the file, some switches appear as blue 'ON' again.
  • You assume the modification was not applied successfully.
What it means:
  • This is normal: the interface displays certain switches as 'ON' by default when a file is initially opened.
  • This does not mean the modification was reverted. The changes are already embedded in your saved file.
  • If you press the same switch a second time, the LOG might not show anything new because the action was already executed during the first save.
How to verify:
  • Check the final status in the results area / right-side list: processed modules usually appear as 'OFF' (often in red) when successfully disabled.
  • DTCs that are already deleted/processed do not get rewritten as 'new' in the LOG.
  • If in doubt, compare 'before/after' using the status area, not just the switch color upon reloading.
✅ Verification Checklist:
  • Open the original file, apply the solution, then save.
  • Reopen the saved (modified) file.
  • Do not rely solely on the blue 'ON' button upon reload (this is just the UI state).
  • Check the right-side list/status: already processed items should explicitly show as 'OFF'.
  • Confirm the LOG does not add redundant entries if you trigger the same action (since it’s already applied).
  • If needed, test on a completely different DTC to see a fresh addition in the LOG.

Note: Use these functions only for legal use and according to local regulations.

Installation & Updates

How do I update my software to the latest version?

The software automatically checks for updates upon launch. Alternatively, you can log into your web dashboard and download the full updated archive.

License & Accounts

Can I install the software on multiple computers?

Standard Lifetime, Monthly Unlimited, and 1 Hour License are limited to 1 PC at a time. Pro Lifetime and Yearly Unlimited allow up to 5 PCs.

Tokens & Cloud Tuning

How many welcome tokens do I get when I buy a license?

Welcome bonus tokens are granted automatically on first purchase:

  • Standard Lifetime (299 €) — 500 welcome tokens (worth 500 € of Cloud Tuning services).
  • Pro Lifetime (499 €) — 500 welcome tokens + Cloud Tuning unlimited (the tokens are a parachute; for active Pro accounts Cloud Tuning is free regardless).
  • Monthly Unlimited (79 €/mo) — 500 tokens on first signup + Cloud Tuning unlimited while the subscription is active.
  • Yearly Unlimited (790 €/yr) — 500 tokens on first signup + Cloud Tuning unlimited.
  • 1 Hour Pack (40 €) — 0 welcome tokens, BUT Cloud Tuning is UNLIMITED during the 1 hour of cumulative desktop usage included.
  • 10-minute Trial (free) — 5 welcome tokens (enough to try one small service such as half a DTC-off).
How much does each Cloud Tuning service cost in tokens?

1 token = 1 EUR. Cloud Tuning services (charged only on Standard 299 € or after the 1 Hour Pack hour is exhausted):

  • DPF off / EGR off / AdBlue off / DTC off — 10 tokens each.
  • Stage 1 remap — 50 tokens.
  • Stage 2 remap — 80 tokens.
  • Combo Power + Delete (Stage 1 + 3 deletes) — 65 tokens (saves 25 €).
  • Pops & Bangs / Launch Control / Eco Tune — 50 tokens each.

On Pro, Monthly Unlimited and Yearly Unlimited plans, all of the above are FREE with no token deduction.

What happens when my 1-Hour Pack hour runs out? Does Cloud Tuning stop?

While you still have time left in your 1-Hour Pack (60 minutes cumulative), Cloud Tuning is fully UNLIMITED: you can submit as many DPF/EGR/Stage 1 etc. jobs as you want, no token cost.

Once your desktop usage reaches 60 minutes total, the desktop software is locked and Cloud Tuning falls back to pay-as-you-go via tokens, the same way the Standard 299 € plan works. You can either buy more tokens (Cloud Vault → Buy Tokens) or upgrade to a paid plan with unlimited Cloud Tuning.

Can I buy more tokens after my welcome bonus runs out?

Yes. Open Cloud Vault → Buy Tokens from your profile. We offer 7 tiers (100, 250, 550 with 10 % bonus, 1200 with 20 % bonus, etc.) plus a custom-amount field. Tokens never expire.

If my Cloud Tuning job fails, are my tokens refunded?

Yes. If our automatic service cannot process your file (e.g. the recipe for your specific ECU is not in our catalogue yet, or the file is rejected for technical reasons), the tokens reserved for that job are automatically refunded to your in-account balance. You can immediately try a different service or contact us to review the file manually.

Token refunds are credited as Cloud Tuning balance — not as cash. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.

Compatibility & Requirements

What are the system requirements?

DaVinci Deluxe runs smoothly on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). An active internet connection is required to authenticate your license upon launch.

Security & Official Website

Do I risk bricking my ECU?

DaVinci Deluxe expertly alters ECU Dump files while protecting the map structures. However, safely writing (flashing) these files back to the ECU is the user's responsibility and relies on the stability of your workshop flashing tools.
